The NHS provides free health care for most people.

It is important to understand that GPs are self employed and not all of the services we provide are covered by the NHS payments to the practice.

Please expect a fee for non NHS services. The staff or your doctor should inform of any charges before carrying out non NHS work.

We also offer private medicals which may be needed by any agency such as your employer or for overseas visa applications. Please contact the Practice Manager for further details. 

We will be working in conjunction with Thrive Tribe to offer eligible patients physical health checks. 

Thrive Tribe (TT) are an award-winning provider of healthy lifestyles programmes and have experience working in partnership with practices to conduct physical health checks for those individuals with a severe mental illness.  Thrive Tribe can offer a Health Check Practitioner dedicated to each practice, to help increase the number of individuals receiving a full and comprehensive check which is designed to assess the risks of developing conditions such as heart disease, stroke, kidney disease and diabetes.

The aim is to create long-term habit and behaviour change through a range of lifestyle and wellbeing programmes. These include weight management, smoking cessation, mental wellbeing, health checks, workplace health, integrated services, physical activity and training.
